EHS Schools of Study
EHS students select from six Schools of Study as they enter 10th grade. Within their School of Study, curriculum is designed to meet state standards while incorporating students' fields of interest, helping them fine tune their future goals.
Future Focused
Whether the future is college, career, or military, EHS students are empowered to explore opportunities through the innovative Schools of Study, internships, collaboration with industry experts, and goal-oriented programs.
EHS Activities
At Elkhart High School, students are encouraged to join groups and programs to help build character, confidence, and friendships.
EHS Athletics
Elkhart High School offers a full range of sports throughout the school year. Student-athletes are challenged to set and reach high goals on the field and in the classroom.
Giving Back
Each year, EHS student groups complete thousands of volunteer hours, including playground builds, downtown art, special community events, food drives, public performances, and much more. We're proud of our EHS Lions for recognizing the value in giving back to our community!
Welcome to Elkhart High School
Elkhart High School is the proud home to over 3,200 students and 300 staff members on our two campuses. Elkhart High School's mission is to be a community where all members achieve academic and personal excellence.
EHS students at the main 10-12 campus are highly engaged in rigorous curriculum and hands-on learning through EHS' Five Schools of Study, while students in the EHS' Freshman Division focus on acquiring the necessary skills to succeed in school and begin to explore the schools of study.

Athletics

College and Career Ready
Elkhart students have the opportunity to earn a college Associates Degree prior to graduation. ECS currently offers over 30 classes with college credits through Elkhart High School and over 30 CTE programs that offer college credits or certification through the Elkhart Area Career Center. Life Ready
Just as important as college and career readiness is "life" readiness. In addition to teaching practical courses like personal finance, all ECS schools use a PRIDE rubric that recognizes students' positive behavior in five life-readiness areas: Persistence, Respectfulness, Initiative, Dependability, and Efficiency.
