Elkhart Academy
Elkhart Academy is committed to serving all students by providing an environment where they learn to navigate life, find their purpose, and become productive members of the community. The program focuses on building a safe and collaborative culture for both students and staff, with an emphasis on developing positive relationships with peers, staff, and the community.
Students work alongside staff to build the skills necessary for success in both the classroom and the community. Each student has an individual learning plan designed to place them in the best position to succeed. Smaller class sizes support more individualized instruction and meaningful engagement.
Students attend a half-day academic session each day. For the second half of their day, the Elkhart Academy team partners with the community to provide work-based learning, internships, and other career-connected opportunities.
Elkhart Academy is a program of Elkhart Community Schools and offers a supportive alternative to the traditional school setting, led by highly trained and dedicated staff.
