Media Centers
Welcome to the Elkhart High School Library!
Our mission is to empower all patrons to be lifelong critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information and technology.
The library is available to students and staff for all of the following reasons:
- individual and collaborative study
- researching class-related topics
- independent reading
- pursuit of personal interests
The library provides access to the following resources:
- books in print (Destiny Catalog)
- digital resources
- ebooks (through Sora and Elkhart Public Library)
- reference sources
- databases
- project materials
- technology devices
- printing services
The EHS library is staffed with one certified librarian and one media secretary who help students find books to read for pleasure, meet their academic and information needs, and who collaborate with teachers through instruction and provision of resources.
Students may visit the library daily from 8:10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
