The Pennant (Student Magazine)

Club Name: The PENNANT Online Newsmagazine - ehsnewsmagazine.org

Club Description: Student magazine is an elective publishing course geared toward students who desire writing journalistically. Through this elective course, the group of students publish the school's online newsmagazine, The PENNANT. Ideally, students will remain a part of The PENNANT for their entire high school career--or from whenever they join. Students continue to earn elective credit each semester they take the course. This benefits the publication, as well, building continuity and leadership roles. This course is excellent preparation for students hoping to go into the myriad fields of communication.

Meeting Location: EHS Main Campus, Journalism Room A101.

Meeting Times: The group meets during the school day and earns credit while also enjoying the benefits of a team/club atmosphere.

Eligibility Requirements: Students need to exhibit competent writing skills, have excellent attendance, be able to meet deadlines, and be both self-disciplined and trustworthy.

Cost for Participation: No costs.
