Marching Band

What is the Marching Band?
The Marching Band is a musical and visual pageantry ensemble made up of Elkhart HS students grades 9-12.
 
How does a student get involved in Marching Band?
Band students sign up for Marching Band in the spring.
 
When does the Marching Band practice?
The Marching Band rehearses several evenings in June. Band Camp is held at Elkhart HS and lasts for two weeks in July. Beginning in August, the Marching Band rehearses two or three evenings per week.
 
Does the Wind Ensemble perform for the community?
The Marching Band performs at home football games, parades, and local competitions in Goshen, Elkhart, and Mishawaka.
 
Does the Marching Band compete in music competitions?
The marching band competes at all Indiana State School Music Association Events and the Bands of America Indianapolis Super-Regional Competition.
