What is the Wind Ensemble?
The Wind Ensemble is the premier concert band ensemble at Elkhart High School. 
 
How does a student get involved in Wind Ensemble?
Students earn a spot in the Wind Ensemble through a competitive audition process. The prerequisite is Beginning or Intermediate Band.
 
When does the Wind Ensemble practice?
The Wind Ensemble rehearses during the school day, and about ten evenings throughout the year.
 
Does the Wind Ensemble perform for the community?
The Wind Ensemble performs four or five times throughout the year, including the Winter Celebration Concert, ISSMA Preview Concert, ISSMA State Qualification Contest, ISSMA State Finals (must qualify) and the Spring Concert.
 
Does the Wind Ensemble compete in music competitions?
Yes, the Wind Ensemble performs in ISSMA Competitions.
