How do students become involved in Theatre?

There are several theatre classes available during the regular school day, including:

• Intro to Theatre
• Advanced Theatre
• Tech Theatre (focused on backstage work such as set design, lighting, sound, costumes, makeup, and props)

Do students involved in Theatre perform for the community?

Yes! Elkhart High School produces three stage productions each year:

• Fall Play (November)
• Spring Musical (March)
• Senior Show (May)

Students can participate both on stage and behind the scenes for all three shows.

How does my elementary or middle school student become involved in Theatre?

Most ECS elementary and middle schools offer stage productions. Please contact your child's school to learn more about local theatre opportunities.
